Just when we had gotten used to having Spider-Man home with his fellow heroes and saving the world in the MCU… he’s gone as quick as a Thanos snap.
After Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home closing out the Infinity Saga section the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many storylines reached their completion, fan favorites said good-bye, and we had our hearts broken as some heroes made the ultimate sacrifice (R.I.P. Tony Stark). So what does a post-Endgame world look like? Where do our remaining heroes go from here?
Marvel Studios made their return to the infamous Hall H at San Diego Comic Con 2019 to help silence fans’ questions and ramp up excitement for what’s to come.
On May 3, 2002, one of Marvel Comics’ most popular superheroes graced the silver screen in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s young aspiring scientist imbued with superhuman abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Since then, we’ve gone through three men wearing the outfit and two reboots, making the character progressively younger. With the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, I thought it would be a good time to rank the web-slinger’s big screen adventures.
Long live the Avengers.
For this review, I felt compelled to start off by honoring these comic-book heroes that have touched the lives of millions of fans around the world, both new and old. Since 2008, Marvel Studios has been on a superhero odyssey; creating memorable moments, whole standalone franchises and bringing the comic books to life.
After the devastating end to last year’s Infinity War, there had to be one last sequel in order to set things right in the universe.
