‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ only marginally lives up to its bloated hype.

A rushed process resulted in a messy continuity of individual films that culminated in 2017’s Justice League. The superhero ensemble film became a box-office bomb, but rumor grew of a cut with the original director’s vision out there. Fan support swelled to bring Snyder’s vision to viewing life.

‘Joker’ Won’t Make You Put On A Happy Face

As a comic book and movie fan, I enjoy when source material is stretched; attacked from different angles to give a fresh perspective on a story. Upon hearing that a super-villain would be getting his own film, I was intrigued. Especially considering he is one of the most iconic villains and fictional characters ever created.Continue reading “‘Joker’ Won’t Make You Put On A Happy Face”

Halftime: My favorite movies of 2019…so far

June 30, 2019. This day means we are somehow halfway through 2019. Where does the time go? Instead of waiting to make an End of Year Top 10 list, I wanted to look back at my favorites of the year so far.

Some franchises are closing their current chapters like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Disney looks to continue their silver screen dominanceContinue reading “My most anticipated movies of 2019”

‘Aquaman’ makes a splash in bright and entertaining seas.

He has always been seen as a second-tier superhero in comparison to the likes of the DC Trinity. With an entertaining but ludicrous story and good old fashioned fun, Aquaman hasContinue reading “‘Aquaman’ makes a splash in bright and entertaining seas.”
