Hello, everyone! With the fall and winter season upon us, there are movies that could be overlooked as more early Oscar nominees start to invade theaters.
I think this movie might be overlooked during the Christmas season but that will depend on it’s competition.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
This reboot presents Jack Ryan (Chris Pine) as a young CIA analyst, who uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack. Co-starring with Pine is Kevin Costner (Man of Steel), Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean), and Kenneth Branagh (Hamlet), this remake seems to have the potential to be a good re-start for the Jack Ryan movie franchise. I was a fan of the Jack Ryan films that starred Alec Baldwin and Harrison Ford in the starring role so I’m hoping that Chris Pine is able to give his own spin on the role but stay true to what Tom Clancy wanted the role to be.
I also hope this movie makes the late Tom Clancy proud. Coming to theaters December 25.
